Terms of Service
By downloading or using Noor ul Haya ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About the App
Noor ul Haya is a free Islamic companion application providing prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran reading, Duas, Tasbih counter, and related spiritual tools. It is developed by Usman Ghias and distributed via Google Play and other channels.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
3. No Religious Authority
Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical methods and scholarly conventions. While we strive for accuracy, the App does not replace consultation with local scholars or mosques for religious rulings. You are responsible for verifying times for your circumstances.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Redistribute modified APKs that misrepresent the App or developer
- Interfere with the App's normal operation
5. Intellectual Property
The App name, logo, design, and original code are owned by the developer. Quranic text and prophetic supplications are sacred; translations and presentations within the App are provided for personal worship and education.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free calculations, or compatibility with all devices. Alarm delivery depends on your device settings, battery optimization, and Android version.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including missed prayers due to notification failures or incorrect calculations.
8. Updates
We may release updates to improve features, fix bugs, or comply with platform requirements. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or certain features with reasonable notice where possible.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in good faith through contact with the developer first.
